Classes are restricted in size to offer the best possible teaching for your child.

Every 18 months - two years pupils take part (if wished) in a performance held at the Princess Theatre, Torquay in aid of local charities.

News letters are sent out each term.

Pupils entered for R.A.D & I.S.T.D. examinations are recognised by the Governments QCA [Qualifications and Curriculum Authority]

e.g. Grade 4 Ballet = GCSE Grade A - C

Grade 6 – 8 = A./S level

Every state, private school and college has to complete returns to the Department for Education and Skills about their examination results and performance at Key Stages.  Secondary schools can now claim credit for Graded Examinations in Dance alongside GCSE’s and A levels, which could improve their position in the ‘League Tables’.  The secondary school will claim credit in their reports to the DfES for those children who have passed dance examinations.  The R.A.D & I.S.T.D will report the data to the DfES when they ask for it, probably twice a year and they will link the data together.

Pupils have been successful in local auditions for shows and Competitions Festivals.  Past pupils have gone on to Royal Ballet Junior and Senior Associates and Vocational Dance Colleges and Degree Courses.

You are welcome to come and view a class
I look forward to seeing you soon.
